How does a Gordon student get HOPE for transient study at another school?
If you are eligible for the HOPE scholarship at Gordon College and wish to be reviewed for payment as a transient student, you must complete the following steps: (1) Complete the Transient Student Form. This form is located on the Gordon Financial Aid Web Page. You can select “Transient Student” under Types of Students and then click on the Transient Student Form link near the bottom of the page. (2) Receive permission to study as a transient student at another institution from the Gordon College Registrar. Please Note: In many cases, the request for HOPE transient permission cannot be completed prior to the beginning of the new quarter of semester at the host institution. Because of this, most transient students need to be prepared to pay all of their expenses at the host institution in order to prevent their classes from being dropped. They will also need to check with the host institution concerning the institution’s refund policy in regard to HOPE reimbursement.
