How does a district keep track of its MRTs and their activities?
Supervision of MRTs is the district’s responsibility. To collect information and to complete the Master Teacher online application in large districts, ideally, the district superintendent assigns two contacts for the MRT program: the District MRT Coordinator, who oversees the district’s reading program issues; and the MRT Data Entry User, who enters the district’s MRT information in the online application. In small districts, the District MRT Coordinator may also serve as the MRT Data Entry User and/or District Approver.
