How Does a Disciple Function in the Local Church?
With the definition of a disciple in hand, let’s describe the activity of one in and through the local church. As one functions as a Christ-follower in church, one becomes a “participating member” of that local body. A participating member at Willow Creek (that is, a Christ follower or disciple) is described as one who is maturing in grace, growth, group, gifts, and good stewardship.
