How Does A Digital Asset Management System (DAM) Work With MetaGrove?
First, one needs to make sure the DAM can ingest the XMP you are embedding in the digital asset. Second, each DAM handles the ingestion of XMP differently. Most DAMs have require a mapping file that is consistent with a schema created with MetaGrove. Pound Hill Software publishes a list on its website that shows which DAMs we know ingest XMP. However, please check with your DAM representative to verify if your DAM is able to ingest XMP.
