How does a deserving individual get nominated if there is a personality conflict between the staff member and her/his supervisor?
Any member of the UW community may nominate an eligible staff member. A person’s supervisor does not have to be the nominator. This should ensure that deserving staff do not get overlooked. Further, members of Executive Council are the final decision makers, which should serve to address any concerns of internal department “politics”.
