How does a dealershiip add leather to a already purchased vehicle that has cloth seats?
They will take the cloth covers off and most of them already have a pattern for the year make and model of the vehicle. They sew them up and slip them on. But if you have a chance to go with original factory leather that is the way to go because anytime your taking anything apart if your going with something that is aftermarket it will void out the warranty on that particular part of the vehicle. So if something broke on the seat such as lumbar support or anything power it most likely will not be covered because the warranty was voided with the use of aftermarket products and service.
