How does a Customer obtain the BlackBerry® Mail Connector?
When integration with Outlook Web Access doesn’t work, BIS has provided a second option to integrate an enterprise source via the BlackBerry® Mail Connector. The BlackBerry® Mail Connector is a downloadable application, which allows users to access their corporate email (Microsoft Exchange or Lotus Domino) wirelessly without any IT involvement. The BlackBerry® Mail Connector is bundled, at no additional charge, with BlackBerry® Internet Service. The application is downloadable when BIS has qualified the user, through a series of qualifying questions, as a user accessing their corporate mail without access to Outlook Web Access or iNotes.
