What are Curtain Panels? Curtain panels are constructed of large pieces of fabric that have either been sewn together or have been finished around their edges to be hung alone. They can be constructed to be purely functional (by blocking sunlight, reducing drafts or increasing privacy), strictly decorative or both. Curtains generally consist of panels that are suspended from a rod that is hung slightly above the window on the wall.
