Libraries are started by grassroots effort from within the community. A group of Oley Valley residents has been volunteering their time for the past 6 months to help organize a plan, gather community support, and communicate with appropriate officials within the Berks County Library System. Various others throughout the community have made donated professional services, guidance, and legal advice because they believe our community deserves its own free public library.
