How does a CloverPage work?
When event guests, friends and family visit your CloverPage, they can see both your description of your special gift, as well as information about your CloverCause and the percentage of gifts you have chosen to share with it. With a simple click, they can give their gifts using their credit cards. At the end of the event, total gifts collected (net of handling fees) are distributed as follows: the dollar amount collected for the special gift will be disbursed to the gift recipient (or the individual responsible for purchasing the gift) and the percentage of gifts being shared is distributed to the chosen cause – the CloverCause. So, if John has described a $75 toy that he has his heart set on, decides to share 75% of his gifts with a non-profit, and receives $300 worth of gifts (net of handling fees) through his CloverPage, the CloverCause John chose will receive $225 and John’s mom will receive a check for $75 to buy his special present.
