At the end of the season, bowling leagues typically award individual prizes (usually in the form of a patch and/or trophy) for high game, high series, high average, and most improved average. For those leagues which run on a handicap system (the majority do), there may also be prizes for most pins over average (series and/or game) Team prizes are also often given for the team which finishes in first place, team high game, and team high series.
