How does a blue coral dwarf fish mate?
I think you are referring to the Blue Coral Dwarf Gourami (Colisa lalia). If that is the case then the is they are Bubble nest builders. The male builds a nest out of bubbles and bits of plant and ecourages the female under this nest . Then he embraces her and she releases a few of her ova which are fertilised during the embrace. He then releases her and picks up the fetilised ova in his mouth and deposits them in the nest. This process continues until she is empty of spawn. He will then drive her away and look after the ova (which develop into fry) until they are free swimming.
