A bacterial cell is diferent from a plant and animal cell in these foolowing respects ( go one by one with them) THE DIFFERENCES–> 1. Bacterial cells possess a PLASMID, a small circular DNA molecule, which can reproduce independently of the main chromosome; 2. Bacterial cell is PROCARIOTIC… much smaller and simpler 3. Have got FIMBRIAE, hair like structure outside the wall at one side, meant for bacterial CONJUNCTION; 4. less rigid cell surface membrane than EUKARIOTES; 5. Have got sinle, circular MAIN CHROMOSOME and it is haploidal (N); 6. possess FLAGELUM at the other side and this is for LOCOMOTION; 7. GLYCOCALYX; this is gelatinous layer out side the cell wall, some times form a CAPSULE FINALLY….very important !! 8. They lack distinct NUCLEUS and MEMBRANE BOUND cellular ORGANELLES. ENOUGH to distinguish…. is it helping YOU?
