How does 3M Support Services, LLC, respond to allegations of abuse, neglect, and/or exploitation?
Prior to employment, each employee undergoes a criminal background check, clearance via the nurse’s aid registry and misconduct registry, and receives training in reporting procedures for abuse/neglect/exploitation allegations. Each program participant and staff person is encouraged to report any allegations to the Department of Family and Protective Services (DFPS) WITHIN ONE HOUR. The DFPS Toll-Free Number (1-800-647-7418) is readily available at all program sites. 3M Support Services, LLC, will also take any actions necessary to prevent reoccurrence, pending the outcome of the investigation.
