How does 20,000 enlistment bonus work?

0

On almost all occasions, when you receive a bonus, you get half of the amount when you complete your basic and AIT Training. Then on your 2 year mark you get 25% then on your 4 year mark you get the remaining 25%. The 20,000 is not for all MOS’s… It depends on your MOS as to how much your enlistment bonus will be. You will find that out when at the MEPS STation talking to the career counselor. He or She will be able to answer any and all questions you have regarding money. As for the G.I. bill and kicker… You will receive the G.I. Bill no matter your ASVAB Score, and the kicker goes completely by what MOS you choose and what the military is offering. As for dietitian/butritionist, i am unsure what the kicker is.
