Giving persuasive speeches isn’t just for high school and college composition classes. You may already give persuasive speeches and not know it. Even if you’re not formally presenting persuasive speeches, it’s important to know how to present your ideas in such a manner. A format exists for outlining your thoughts in a persuasive speech. The format exists for a reason. It is a logical and powerful means of presenting your views. Select your topic. The more specific the topic, the better. Set guidelines.
