How Do You Write An English Essay Thesis?
While it only makes up a small part of the paper, the thesis is, for many, the most difficult part of a paper to compose. The thesis usually sits in the end of the first paragraph, and is made up of one or two sentences that summarize the argument of the paper. By reading your thesis, your audience should be able to determine what you will be talking about through the remainder of your paper. Creating a simple statement that so fully encompasses the point of the paper can be intimidating, but the goal is easily accomplished if you break the creation of the statement down into manageable parts. Decide what you are trying to show in your paper. The thesis statement is sometimes referred to as the statement of purpose. It should clearly state what you want to say in the body of your paper.
