How Do You Write An Admission Essay?
If you are applying to college or a university, this article is for you. Here are a few helpful hints to make the daunting task of writing an admission essay quicker and easier. Getting this part out of the way will let you shift focus to the other tasks you must do to get admitted. DO NOT LOSE the guidelines that tell you what the essay requires. Most essays need to be typed and have a specified word count. Try to break the prompt into 2-4 parts. These parts will then becomem 2-4 individual paragraphs. Find a “wordbank” to draw your vocabulary from. This might be pamphlets describing your desired degree, the classes outlined for your degree, your goals and past accomplishments jotted down in list form, or an inspirational book where you can get some great words.
