How Do You Write A Well Developed Paragraph?
When students are asked what a paragraph needs, most know that they need to indent. Beyond that, some students do not know how to write a solid one.Writing a well-developed paragraph takes a little time and effort. It should stay on topic, have a topic sentence, give supporting detail, and include a transition to the next paragraph in an essay or conclude a stand-alone one. Choose a topic. A topic should not be too broad. For example, soccer is too broad. Try to write a paragraph on the rules, equipment, positions or favorite teams. The topic should also lend itself to writing at least four sentences, but six is better. If you don’t have enough detail to write four to six sentences, the topic is too narrow.
