• Come up with a character(s). If you don’t have characters, you don’t have a story. Dialogue makes it more realistic, but don’t use too much. • Your characters have to live somewhere. Since it is realistic fiction, pick a real city and real country for your character(s). • Describe what your characters look like – it will make it more realistic for the reader because they can’t see into your mind where you are seeing the character. • Pick who your audience is.
