How Do You Write A Realistic Fiction Book?
• Come up with a character(s). If you don’t have characters, you don’t have a story. Dialogue makes it more realistic, but don’t use too much. • Your characters have to live somewhere. Since it is realistic fiction, pick a real city and real country for your character(s). • Describe what your characters look like – it will make it more realistic for the reader because they can’t see into your mind where you are seeing the character. • Pick who your audience is. Is it kindergartners, pre-teens, teens, or adults? • Pick what your story is about. There are lots of genres that go into realistic fiction. It could be a love story or maybe a murder mystery, they are both realistic. • Write a paragraph or a planning tree or something to organize your thoughts about the story.
