How Do You Write A Non-Fiction Story?
Non-fiction stories are based on real events, and are true in the sense that they have not been made up. These can be stories about how rattlesnakes lay eggs or how man first landed on the moon. The process for writing non-fiction is very different from the process for writing fiction–you must be able to absorb the facts and then use them to tell readers a story. The story must be engaging so that readers will enjoy learning about the subject of your story. Write stories based on subjects that you are familiar with. You are more likely to be passionate about these subjects, and your readers will be able to pick up on that. For example, if you are a history buff, you are going to describe a battle scene with more descriptive words than someone who doesn’t really care about history. This is because you have probably imagined what the battle scene would look like many times before. Pinpoint who your audience will be. Before you can write your story, you must know who you are writing it t
