One of the most intimidating things about writing a script can be putting it in the “script format”. Now there is a great program that will help you format your writing into script form very easily. This program is free to download and use. This program is called Celtx 2.0 It is free to download and use. When you are writing in Celtx it will give you easy to use scroll down menus to use that will automatically adjust the spacing on the page to script form. It will also give you separate pages where the audio and visual stuff is broken into two columns for easy review. There is even an area to help you create visual storyboards and more… It is also very helpful if you are writing in collaboration with other people. If everyone involved has Celtx Studios you can all view and edit your work online, again for free! So the next time you have a script idea to write try Celtx. I did and it helped me out a lot.
