If you have been working on loads of temporary jobs whilst looking for that new job, or if you were made redundant and had to take a lot of temp jobs to pay your bills then this can pay havoc with your resume or CV. How do you make your resume look good as opposed to imaginary or worse still, as if you flit from job to job? Well the short answer is you turn it into a positive. Have a good look at several job adverts that you think you would like to apply for. Make a list of the various skills that they are seeking. Then go to your resume or CV. Make the period that you have worked for temp agencies into one big group of jobs. Put something like this: Whilst searching for my next career move in the current difficult times, I have been fully employed with A, B and C temp agencies: My roles have included x,y,z and my responsibilities have included: Major achievement a Major achievement b etc. Then list some good stuff that you have done.
