How do you work with the city of Aventura?
Once Aventura incorporated in 1995 and voted in their first mayor and commission, we became close working partners with the city. The mayor and commissioners, the city manager and department heads attend our monthly Breakfast Meetings. We hold frequent “Meet Your City Manager and Police Chief” meetings where members have an opportunity for ‘one-on-one’ questions and interaction. Each month we honor the “Aventura Police Officer of the Month” at our Breakfast Meetings. Each year, we sponsor the “City of Aventura Update Meeting” where the city manager presents a program detailing all the new commercial, residential and transportation projects in the city. We provide the city with extensive coverage in the Aventura News about their ongoing projects, programs and special events.
