A good performer needs to keep an audience in rapt attention if he wants to have a long-term, successful career. Some performers may tell you that working a stage and keeping an audience in the palm of your hand are all drawn from the power of natural and unexplainable talent. Even if that’s true in part, you can do a number of things to keep an audience interested, even if you’re not that good of a musician. Maintain eye contact with your audience.
