The chest muscles, also called the pectoral muscles, are made up of the pectoralis major and the pectoralis minor. These muscles are considered part of your body’s core muscle group because they anchor, stabilize, and move your arms and upper body. Working your chest through presses at different levels of incline will help develop all areas of the muscle.
