A BOSU ball is similar to a stability ball except a BOSU ball connects to a platform. BOSU stands for “Both Sides Utilized” because you use both the domed ball side and the flat platform side when working out. The BOSU ball is great for all levels, from beginner to advanced, and allows for a variety of exercises. Perform squats on the domed side of the BOSU ball by standing directly in the middle of the ball. Your feet can’t spread far because of the surface area, so just plant them on both sides of the ball. Squat slowly down until your legs are parallel with the floor. Push yourself back up slowly, focusing on your balance and core muscles. Do 3 sets of 10 repetitions each.
