Wiring wall ceiling lights can be easy to do yourself if you have the right tools and the electrical knowledge. If you are unsure how to do this or are afraid to work with electricity, call an electrician. However, doing this project yourself can save you a ton of money. Turn the power off in the room where you are putting the wall ceiling light. Find the wall plug closest to where you are putting the wall ceiling lights. Check the plug with the electrical tester to make sure it is off. Take the wall plug out and with a flat screwdriver, loosen the screws on the plug where the wires go. Put the wires on the plug. The black wire goes on black, the white wire goes on white and the ground wire goes on the ground. Before putting the plug back in the wall, wrap it with black tape for safety reasons.
