How Do You Wire An Electrical Baseboard Heater?
Baseboard heaters are cheaper because they will save you money on the heating bill. With baseboard heaters, you can heat one room instead of using a furnace to heat the whole house. This can add convenience and keep your heating bill down. Baseboard heaters come in 110 and 220 volts. The wiring process can be difficult if you are afraid to work with electricity or do not know anything about it. However, if you know what you are doing, this can be an easy process. Drill the holes with the drill. Drill one by the breaker box and one where you are putting the heater. Mount the heater to the wall with the screws that came with the heater. Use the flat or Phillips screwdriver to tighten them. Run the wire up through the floor by the breaker box. Leave 2 to 4 inches for room to connect. Measure from the hole by the breaker box to the hole by the heater with the tape measure. Measure the wire and leave 2 to 4 inches of extra wire at the heater for easier connection. Cut and clean the the wire
