How Do You Wire A Three-Way Light Switch With Ceiling Fan?
Wiring a three-way light switch with a ceiling fan is no different than wiring a three-way switch for a light. The process takes approximately 15 minutes if two three-way switches are currently being used. The process will take several hours if replacing single-pull switches. New wire will have to be installed if this is the case. Turn off the appropriate circuit breaker or fuse. Check the light switches with the voltmeter to ensure the electricity is off. Remove the light switch cover and the old switch. Replace the switch by attaching the gold screw to the black wire, the silver screw to the white wire, and the black screw to the blue wire. Secure the switch into the box. Replace the switch cover. Repeat this step for the other light switch. Turn on the circuit breaker or fuse.
