How Do You Wire 2 DVC Subs To A Mono-Block Amp?
You don’t specify what ohms the DVC’s are. You do know when you connect subs together that the power handling of both is added together. Two 300 watt RMS subs would be a power handling of 600 watts RMS total. A 300 watt RMS amp will only power half of each sub. There are wiring diagrams on my site http://spkrbox1.spaces.live.com __________________ http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?… A cap does NOT supply more power as you say. A capacitor is only good so far as the audio system isn’t trying to pull too much from the electrical system. A cap doesn’t provide more power, it’s designed to ‘stiffen’ the voltage to the amp, nothing esle. If the current isn’t there, a cap won’t help. The alternator must have at least 20% more amperage power than the entire vehicle and sound system combined for a cap to be of benefit which is ironically the same req
