By winding the bobbin on a sewing machine you can easily and quickly fill a bobbin when you need one. You wind the bobbin on some sewing machines from the top, and on others, you wind it from underneath the needle plate. On most machines, you must wind the thread in a clockwise direction or it will unwind instead of sewing beautiful stitches. Insert the empty bobbin case onto the bobbin winder in the sewing machine. Set the spool of thread onto the thread peg. Use the same thread you want to use on your material to obtain the best finished stitch.
