How Do You Whiten Dingy Polar Fleece?

0

That polar fleece shirt is your favorite, but after many washings it just isn’t as sparkling white as it used to be. There are several methods for brightening up your favorite fleecey wardrobe pieces, using ideas from the traditional to the off-beat home remedies. Give them all a shot and see which ones gets your clothes their whitest. Your grandma would recommend this: soak your clothes in warm water and 1/2 cup of lemon juice. Set it out in the sun to dry. Then rinse out lemon juice and wash normally, drying again in the sun. Soak in vinegar. Wash normally. Use a detergent with washing soda in the ingredients. Add 1/4 cup of Borax to the wash. If this doesn’t help, try baking soda. Use chlorine bleach with your wash. Saturate garment with hydrogen peroxide. Wash normally.
