How Do You Weave A Purse Using Cardboard Loom?
The ancient craft of weaving has made its way through the centuries and is still being used. The equipment has gone from native people using their bodies to hold the wraps and boot straps to hand loom, table looms, and to 4-harness looms. You can use even cardboard to create an inexpensive loom to create great creative projects on. This purse project is a simple clutch style with a small flap. Create a loom that is big enough to make the width of your purse. In this project we are using an 8 ½ x 11-inch piece of heavy cardstock. Make small cuts that are in depth of 3 inches and ¼ of an inch spaced across the top and bottom of the cardstock. Take a piece of 8 ½ x 11-inch piece of paper and fold it to become a sample of the purse. Transfer those lines to your card stock in dark black lines.
