Hi I use hot wax (the kind in a tub that you can microwave). I tried the cold wax strips once..eeek! Never agan! I talcum powder the area first – this means that the wax sticks to the hairs and not the skin! Then use the spatula to apply wax to A SMALL AREA AT A TIME, applying in the directions that the hair grows in. If your hairs are long (more than a centimetre) then you should probably trim with a scissors first. This stops random hairs getting caught in the wax. Apply the cotton strip (should be supplied with your hot wax) to the waxed area, pressing down and rubbing so that it is in very close contact with the skin. Taughten the skin with one hand, pulling away from you, then quickly pull off the cotton strip in the OPPOSITE direction to the hair growth. (this is the bit where sometimes you feel like you need an extra hand! Take your time and get it right…) Immediately after, press your hand HARD onto the area that you just waxed.
