How Do You Watch The AFI Top 100 Movies?
Are you a movie lover? If so, one of your goals should be to watch all of the films in the American Film Institute’s Top 100 movies. I would recommend both the 1998 and 2007 lists. These lists are an excellent guide to many of the classic and influential films created in Hollywood. Your first step would be to print out the lists and review all the films. Cross out the ones you have already seen and tally up the films left on the lists. You can download the lists directly from the AFI web page or even from Wikipedia. After you have determined the films you need to watch, locate these movies. There are many places to acquire the films such as Amazon.com, Blockbuster.com, Netflix, Hulu and on classic movie channels. As you watch the films, take an extra step and learn about each film. Check out IMDB.com to read trivia about the film and peruse film critic’s takes on the movies. Many of the films can lead to a greater knowledge of history and culture.
