How Do You Waste Time In Class?
• If the class is doing a PowerPoint or boring video, when the teacher turns around to turn off the lights, grab a seat in the back, put your head on the desk and get as relaxed as possible. • Find out if your teacher does anything special or has a certain topic they like to talk about. For example; write books, likes a certain niece or nephew. • Keep asking questions about those topics before class actually begins. Pretend to be interested. • Sometimes it helps to have a brainiac ask questions about something you are learning. He/she is more likely to be believed. • If none of these things work, have the teacher explain something then ask, “I don’t understand what this is! Can you explain it again?” • Then you have someone else ask, “Wait!! We have/it is _________?!?” If you absolutely have to, have someone fake an injury to get the teacher’s attention. That person can’t be the class clown or else the teacher might not fall for it.
