I reckon you have 9 days then…. Stretch before running. My current thought is to stretch after running and not before (stretching a cold muscle and ligament can damage them if you are not careful) however you might want to warm up before you race. For 1500m I would jog round the track once, 400m and then perhaps try a quick 100m sprint (20 seconds for 100m type of quick), trying to time this to finish 5 minutes before the race starts. 100m sprint – again bit of a warm up and a sprint to get your body used to running. Improving speed over 9 days could be tricky, but if you want to I would go out every other day until 3 days before the race (so 3 training sessions), where you train for 30 minutes. In these sessions, jog for 5 to 10 minutes to warm up, then run short repeated distances, perhaps 400m (1/4 mile) fast, rest to get your breath back and repeat, then jog home for 5 to 10 minutes.
