How Do You Wait Patiently In Long Lines On Presidential Election Day?
We go through this process every 4 years but this time it is very special. No matter which side wins, they make history. Now, you want to be a part of that (a good story for grands and great grands!) and last week during early voting time, some people stood in lines for as long as 4 hours. Tuesday, November 4th will probably be just as bad. Here are tips on how you can get ready for those long lines on Presidential Election Day. Go early. The polls open at 6AM (for some states, if not all). Some may camp out the night before and others will get up around 4AM to be in line first. Remember that you are not the only person thinking about being there when the polls open, so go as early as you can. Take some business cards with you. Opportunity is knocking so please open the door. As you stand in that line waiting to vote, make a new friend. Make as many friends as you can. Exchange business cards.
