Volunteering at your local animal shelter is a great way to spend your time while making a difference in a life, whether it’s a dog, cat, sometimes even bunnies! There are so many ways you can help out and it is all appreciated. Shelters are always in need of volunteers willing to play with and exercise the animals. Simply spending quiet time with a hyperactive dog or playing chase-the-feather with that old cat help animals become more adoptable.
