Volunteering at a local airshow is a wonderful way to both see the airshow and become a part of a great event. You can volunteer alone or with a group–benefiting your community while having tons of fun. Here are some tips to help get you started. Step 1 Decide which airshow you’d like to volunteer with. Airshows are typically annual events held in the summer months, so make sure you’re free during the week prior to the air show and that you’re available for the event itself. Step 2 Figure out where you’d like to be of service. Make a list of five or so things you would enjoy helping out with.
