How Do You Visit Yellowstone Bear World?
Some people might be surprised to discover that despite its name, Yellowstone Bear World is not actually located in Yellowstone National Park. Instead it is located off of U.S. Highway 20, in Idaho, on the way to the famous national park. Bear World takes its name from the dozen of bears, wolves and other wildlife that once made their home in Yellowstone and now live in this refuge. If you are planning a visit to Yellowstone, be sure to stop here along the way. Plan your trip for the right season. Bear World is only open from mid May to mid October, so keep that in mind as you decide when to visit. Count how many people will be in your party. Bear World charges per person, but they do offer special rates for large groups. If you know how many people you will be traveling with, it will be easier to plan for cost. Make a stop at Bear World on your way to or from Yellowstone. In order to get there you have to take the scenic route to, or out of, the park through Southeastern Idaho. U.S. H
