How Do You Visit Tolmachoff Farms In Glendale, AZ?
Glendale is home to several working farms that are open to the public during prime picking season. One of these, Tolmachoff Farms, features an annual corn maze, petting zoo, pumpkin patch, farmers’ market and more. The farm is located in a quiet residential neighborhood in Glendale, about 30 minutes from downtown Phoenix, and is a nice way to spend a back to nature day in the desert. Wear a hat, sunscreen and bring bottled water and come out for the annual farm day in June. There is a u-pick-it garden for tomatoes and other vegetables, along with children’s activities and a corn husking contest. Admission is $4. Return in October, when the farm opens for autumn fun. Admission is $7 for adults with a reduced price for children and seniors. Pick out a pumpkin to take home from the farms’ patch.
