How Do You Visit The World War II Memorial?
The National World War II Memorial is located in Washington, D.C., and was dedicated to the hundreds of thousands of Americans who lost their lives in that war. It was opened in May of 2004 and has been a main attraction since its creation. Visit the World War II Memorial anytime. It is opened 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Take public transportation to the World War II Memorial. Parking is limited in the area. If you do drive, you’ll have to find a paid parking garage at the National Mall. Find a park ranger to answer any questions that you may have about the memorial. National park rangers are available at the exhibit between the hours of 9:30 a.m. and 11:30 p.m. daily.
