How Do You Visit The Saratoga Racetrack?
People who follow horse racing know that Saratoga is the summer place to be if you want to catch a glimpse of the thoroughbreds. Starting in late July and ending in early September, thoroughbred horses from around the world start arriving in Saratoga, New York. To see the horses race, you’ll need to visit the Saratoga Racetrack. Arrive at the racetrack early in the morning between 7:30 a.m. and 9 a.m. Park in the trackside parking lot for a fee or use the free general parking. If you use general parking, you’ll have a longer walk to the racetrack. Enjoy a buffet breakfast at The Porch, which is located on the first floor of the Clubhouse. While you eat, watch the horses run through their morning workouts. Take the free Tram Tour of the Backstretch Area. This tour includes a Paddock Show and Starting Gate Demonstration.
