How Do You Visit The Monterey Aquarium?
The Monterey Aquarium, located along California’s Pacific coastline, is housed in Monterey’s “Cannery Row,” a line of warehouses that were once used for sardine and anchovy factories. The facility, opened in 1984, features over 35,000 sea animals and plants belonging to over 600 species. Buy tickets in advance on line or when you arrive at the aquarium’s ticket office. Discounts are given to students, those 65 and older, active members of the military and children ages 3 to 12. Children under three are admitted free of charge.
