Want to see where the Obama girls go to school? Interested in seeing the world’s first Leed platinum certified (green) middle school? Thinking of sending your kids to one of DC’s best independent schools? Here’s what you need to do to schedule a visit. Go to the school’s website: www.sidwell.edu and decide which of the three locations you are interested in visiting. The lower school (PK-4th grade) is located at 5100 Edgemoor lane in Bethesda, MD. The middle and upper school buildings share a campus at 3825 Wisconsin ave in Washington, DC. Contact the school either by email or telephone at (202) 537 8100 to arrange a visit. The office will schedule an admissions tour if you are interested or they may give you details about when the campus is open to the public. They are generally happy to have visitors.
