How Do You Visit Indianas Conner Prairie?
Conner Prairie, located just north of Indianapolis, is a living history museum that illustrates life on the Indiana prairie during the 18th and 19th centuries. The attraction features four distinct areas as well as a modern museum and over 800 acres of natural woods. Visitors learn about Indiana history through reenactments, craft shops, hundreds of artifacts and over two dozen restored structures. Tickets to Conner Prairie are available at the attraction’s ticket office. Discounts are offered for those age 65 and older and those ages two through twelve. Children under age two are admitted free of charge. The indoor exhibits at Conner Prairie are open year round. The outdoor exhibits are open from April to October, plus selected dates in November. Hours vary with each season. Visit the Lenape Indian Camp. This historic area features a recreated encampment and trading post.
