How Do You Visit Hohenschwangau Castle And Surrounding Area, Germany?
Located just across the Austrian border, in Southwestern Bavaria, is Hohenschwangau and Neuschwanstein Castles. Looking out over the Valley from Schloss Hohenschwangau (or Castle) you can look down over the village of Hohenschwangau. Then looking across and up on the hilltop you will see Neuschwanstein Castle. Nestled between the two Castles is Hotel Muller which has been run by the Muller family since it first opened in 1910. At the end of the Romantic Road in Germany it’s a great place to start or end your romantic travels. If you are traveling in prime tourist season then I recommend two things: 1. purchase your entrance tickets online (link noted below); 2. arrive to the area early to find parking and have a calm day If you really want a relaxing time book an overnight stay at the Hotel Mueller.
