How Do You Visit Amicalola Falls State Park?
Amicalola Falls State Park and Lodge, located in Dawsonville, Georgia, is one of the area’s most well-known and visited state parks. Located at 418 Amicalola Falls State Park Road, the park boasts a variety of activities for the whole family. Gaze at the spectacular waterfall that gives Amicalola its name. “Amicalola” is a Cherokee Indian word that means “tumbling waters.” The beautiful 729-foot high waterfall is sure to elicit “oohs” and “ahs” from your family. Park guests can drive to the top of the falls or hike up a paved path to reach the summit. Camp at the park.
